thursday night we went to lady happy hour hosted at our friends’ place of the num num chronicles, caroline hwang, who does amazing illustrations, and lisa butterworth, of bust magazine. we had delicious mini red velvet cupcakes and gin mixed drinks with cranberries.. yum! we met a lot of nice, interesting people- everyone from a calligrapher, a wedding planner, a photographer, and ran into some familiar faces, kate miss from for me, for you. caroline and lisa are the best hosts and even sent everyone home with goody bags of candy and recipe cards. special thanks to caroline’s dog pinky who was a good sport about being a propped in several photos. looking forward to the next lady time!
btw be sure to check out kate’s necklaces and caroline’s illustrations, they have some beautiful, affordable pieces. btw kate was wearing one of her awesome necklaces to the party, it had a beautiful multi-colored string not sure when/if she’s releasing that one, but def mark your calendars for jan 25th (her next sale) to find out for yourself.
